Direct answer

Private BECE still uses eresults.waecgh.org and a BECE checker — but the index and candidacy type must match private registration, not a school colleague’s format.

BECE — Ghana 2026

Written for candidates who sat BECE privately. Buy authorised checkers on Ewale *714*22# when you need a voucher. Check only on WAEC’s official portals.

Vital context for “BECE private candidate results”

Private and school BECE can share the same portal with different candidate records. Using a school friend’s index style or a WASSCE private exam type will fail.

BECE checker facts that actually matter

A BECE result checker is a Serial Number + 10-digit PIN. It is not the index number. The index number identifies the candidate; the checker is the key that unlocks the portal. Official check: eresults.waecgh.org. WASSCE’s site will reject a BECE voucher.

WAEC Ghana typically allows three successful views per voucher. Screenshot and save a PDF on the first clean load. CSSPS SHS placement uses these grades later — a lost PIN in a class WhatsApp group burns a use and exposes the child.

Buy a BECE checker on Ewale

  1. Dial *714*22# → 5 Results Vouchers → 1 BECE.
  2. Self or Other. Quantity 1–80 for a school or family.
  3. Confirm the live GHS (often GH₵24 per voucher) and approve MoMo.
  4. Save the SMS. Then open eresults.waecgh.org with index, serial, PIN, and the correct year.

Advice that actually helps

Put the private registration slip next to the phone. Buy BECE (not WASSCE) voucher on *714*22#. If “no results,” it is usually year or index, not a need for WASSCE PIN.

The expensive mistake: Selecting WASSCE Private on ghana.waecdirect.org for a BECE sitting.

After the grades are on the screen

CSSPS eligibility for private candidates can differ — ask GES/school, do not assume a day SHS automatic place.

  • Exam type on BECE portal must be the BECE option you sat.
  • Keep private receipts with the checker SMS.
  • Do not borrow a school candidate’s remaining uses.

Protect the child and the voucher

  • Do not paste Serial + PIN in a class or church group.
  • Do not pay a site that is not eresults.waecgh.org (or the matching official WAEC Ghana property).
  • Do not buy a second voucher until you have re-typed the first SMS and confirmed the exam type and year.
  • Schools should not harvest student PINs “for the office file.” The three uses belong to the candidate.

Stuck after a real debit? Ewale support with the MoMo reference. WAEC grading disputes go to WAEC Ghana, not Ewale.

FAQ — BECE private candidate results

Is the PIN 10 or 12 digits?

Ewale BECE vouchers use 10-digit PINs; WASSCE/Nov-Dec use 12. Buy the BECE product.

Can private BECE use Ghana Post only?

No. USSD works the same.

Results later than school candidates?

Follow WAEC’s announcement for that diet. Do not use a leaked school Excel.

Buy the checker when you are ready

For BECE private candidate results, keep *714*22# saved. Results day is a bad time to stand in a Ghana Post queue. Official portal, three uses, save the PDF, then decide the next academic step with a calm adult in the room.
