Direct answer

No. The official BECE portal requires Serial and PIN. There is no free public lookup by name. Anyone offering “check without voucher” is harvesting index numbers or selling stolen PINs.

BECE — Ghana 2026

Written for families hoping to skip the GH₵ voucher. Buy authorised checkers on Ewale *714*22# when you need a voucher. Check only on WAEC’s official portals.

Vital context for “check BECE results without checker”

WAEC funds the results service with checkers. Schools sometimes check a demo for counselling, but that is not a right you can demand on Facebook. Borrowing a friend’s remaining use still spends their three attempts.

BECE checker facts that actually matter

A BECE result checker is a Serial Number + 10-digit PIN. It is not the index number. The index number identifies the candidate; the checker is the key that unlocks the portal. Official check: eresults.waecgh.org. WASSCE’s site will reject a BECE voucher.

WAEC Ghana typically allows three successful views per voucher. Screenshot and save a PDF on the first clean load. CSSPS SHS placement uses these grades later — a lost PIN in a class WhatsApp group burns a use and exposes the child.

Buy a BECE checker on Ewale

  1. Dial *714*22# → 5 Results Vouchers → 1 BECE.
  2. Self or Other. Quantity 1–80 for a school or family.
  3. Confirm the live GHS (often GH₵24 per voucher) and approve MoMo.
  4. Save the SMS. Then open eresults.waecgh.org with index, serial, PIN, and the correct year.

Advice that actually helps

Budget the voucher like exam fees. Buy on Ewale before release. If money is tight, one voucher and one careful check with PDF saved is enough. Do not send MoMo to a page that “already has the results.”

The expensive mistake: Paying GH₵10 to a WhatsApp number that promises a screenshot of all candidates in a school.

After the grades are on the screen

Once you buy, use eresults.waecgh.org only. If payment succeeded and SMS delayed, wait and retrieve — do not assume you can enter without a PIN.

  • The index number alone never unlocks the portal.
  • Teachers should not sell “school PIN packs” from unknown vendors.
  • Keep the SMS even after you print.

Protect the child and the voucher

  • Do not paste Serial + PIN in a class or church group.
  • Do not pay a site that is not eresults.waecgh.org (or the matching official WAEC Ghana property).
  • Do not buy a second voucher until you have re-typed the first SMS and confirmed the exam type and year.
  • Schools should not harvest student PINs “for the office file.” The three uses belong to the candidate.

Stuck after a real debit? Ewale support with the MoMo reference. WAEC grading disputes go to WAEC Ghana, not Ewale.

FAQ — check BECE results without checker

Can the school check for free for every child?

Policy varies. Do not rely on it. Own voucher means you are not waiting on a headteacher’s lunch break.

Is there a USSD that shows grades without a portal?

No official WAEC USSD dumps full BECE slips. Buy checker, then use the website.

What does Ewale send?

Serial + PIN by SMS after MoMo — not the grades themselves.
