Direct answer

True errors go through the school to WAEC with the slip, index, and a written claim. Facebook tags are not a ticket. A new checker will show the same data until WAEC changes it.

WAEC Ghana — Ghana 2026

Written for families who believe a subject was mis-recorded. Buy authorised checkers on Ewale *714*22# when you need a voucher. Check only on WAEC’s official portals.

Vital context for “report WAEC result error”

Name spelling, missing subject, or a grade far from every mock — these are query types. Portal typos are not WAEC errors.

How WAEC result checkers work in Ghana

WAEC Ghana does not email grades. You buy an authorised result checker voucher, then type Serial, PIN, index number, exam type, and year on the official site. Ewale *714*22# sells BECE and WASSCE/Nov-Dec vouchers by SMS. Price is shown before PIN — treat WhatsApp “GH₵5 checkers” as stolen or fake.

Three uses. Official sites only. Never dictate PIN on a call. If the portal is slow on release day, wait and retry — do not buy five extra vouchers from a stranger.

Advice that actually helps

Print the official slip. Write one page. School exams officer. Deadlines exist. Pay only official remarking fees through the school.

The expensive mistake: Paying a “results editor.”

After the grades are on the screen

Keep copies. Continue other plans unless told to freeze applications.

  • Differentiate PIN typo vs result content.
  • One subject, clear story.
  • No Ewale involvement in grading.

Protect the child and the voucher

  • Do not paste Serial + PIN in a class or church group.
  • Do not pay a site that is not ghana.waecdirect.org (or the matching official WAEC Ghana property).
  • Do not buy a second voucher until you have re-typed the first SMS and confirmed the exam type and year.
  • Schools should not harvest student PINs “for the office file.” The three uses belong to the candidate.

Stuck after a real debit? Ewale support with the MoMo reference. WAEC grading disputes go to WAEC Ghana, not Ewale.
