Direct answer

NOVDEC can replace a blocking subject if you study and if the university accepts the combination. It cannot launder a cancelled paper or a forged slip.

NOVDEC / WASSCE Private — Ghana 2026

Written for candidates with one or two weak cores. Buy authorised checkers on Ewale *714*22# when you need a voucher. Check only on WAEC’s official portals.

Vital context for “improve WASSCE grades NOVDEC”

You re-sit specific subjects as registered. Results are a new slip. Admissions offices apply their rules to both documents.

NOVDEC / private WASSCE — what the checker is for

NOVDEC is Ghana’s private / second-sitting WASSCE (dates sit around November–December; series names change). You write to upgrade grades or to sit as a private candidate. Results still live on ghana.waecdirect.org under WASSCE (Private) — not the BECE portal.

The voucher you buy on Ewale as “WASSCE / Nov-Dec” is the same product family as school WASSCE checkers: Serial + PIN, typically three uses. Exam type on the portal must be Private if that is how WAEC registered you. School vs Private mismatch is the usual “no results” after a valid PIN.

Buy the voucher

  1. *714*22# → 5 → 2 (WASSCE / Nov-Dec) → MoMo → SMS.
  2. Portal: ghana.waecdirect.org → WASSCE (Private) → year you sat → index → PIN → Serial.

Advice that actually helps

Tutor the actual weak subject. Ignore centres that sell yesterday’s questions as tomorrow’s paper. Time your checker purchase to results, not to registration day.

The expensive mistake: Paying for grades without sitting.

After the grades are on the screen

Check Private. Put slips side by side. Apply as instructed.

  • One or two subjects well > eight neglected.
  • Mental stamina.
  • Legal centre only.

Protect the child and the voucher

  • Do not paste Serial + PIN in a class or church group.
  • Do not pay a site that is not ghana.waecdirect.org (or the matching official WAEC Ghana property).
  • Do not buy a second voucher until you have re-typed the first SMS and confirmed the exam type and year.
  • Schools should not harvest student PINs “for the office file.” The three uses belong to the candidate.

Stuck after a real debit? Ewale support with the MoMo reference. WAEC grading disputes go to WAEC Ghana, not Ewale.
