Nov/Dec FAQ

Question 1

What is a Nov/Dec result checker voucher?

Accepted Answer

The Nov/Dec (November/December) examination is WAEC's private WASSCE sitting for candidates who did not take the main school exam or want to improve grades. The Nov/Dec result checker uses the same WASSCE voucher type on Ewale — select WASSCE / Nov-Dec Checker when purchasing via *714*22#. Also called Private WASSCE or NOVDEC. Same price: GH₵24.00 per voucher on Ewale. Results checked on ghana.waecdirect.org with index number and year. Voucher usable up to three times for the same candidate and year.

Question 2

How is Nov/Dec different from school WASSCE vouchers?

Accepted Answer

There is no separate Nov/Dec SKU on Ewale — both school WASSCE and Nov/Dec private candidates purchase the WASSCE / Nov-Dec Checker Voucher (menu option 2 under Results Vouchers). The difference is only in the index number and exam type you select on the WAEC portal.

Question 3

Can I check Nov/Dec results from previous years?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Purchase a WASSCE / Nov-Dec checker on Ewale, then on ghana.waecdirect.org select the Nov/Dec examination type, enter the correct year and private candidate index number, and submit your Serial and PIN. Buy voucher: *714*22# → Results Vouchers → WASSCE / Nov-Dec. Open ghana.waecdirect.org. Select Nov/Dec (Private) examination. Enter index number, year, Serial, and PIN. View, print, or save results.
