Buy ECG Prepaid With AT Money

AT Money (AirtelTigo Money) can buy ECG prepaid credit. The paying wallet is the SIM you use. Dial Ewale from an AT line and the approval prompt is AT Money — you do not need to match ECG’s own codes to AT.

Dial *714*22# → Utilities → ECG → Prepaid. Confirm the registered name, pay, then load the 20-digit token.

What you need

  • An AT (AirtelTigo) SIM with AT Money registered.
  • Wallet balance — check on *110# (AT Money on an AT SIM; Telecel Cash on a Telecel SIM).
  • Prepaid meter number from the meter face or last receipt.

Step by step

  1. Dial *714*22#.
  2. Choose Utilities → ECG Power → Prepaid.
  3. Type the meter number with no spaces or dashes.
  4. Read the account name. If it is not the house you intend to credit, abort.
  5. Enter amount (GH₵1 minimum on Ewale) and approve the AT Money PIN prompt.
  6. Copy the 20-digit token from SMS onto the meter. Press the meter’s enter / blue key after the last digit.

AT *110# vs ECG *226# vs Ewale

*110# is the wallet. *226# is ECG PowerApp USSD (prepaid and postpaid). Ewale sits in the middle: you stay in one utilities menu, pay with AT Money, and can reach support on the same code if the token is delayed.

Prefixes lie after number portability. A 027 that ported to MTN will not open AT Money. Ask which network the SIM is on today.

If the AT Money prompt fails

  • Check wallet PIN and daily limits.
  • Confirm you were not already debited (AT Money mini-statement) before retrying.
  • If debited with no token after 15 minutes, use Ewale Support on the same USSD — do not buy a second token for the same outage until the first is resolved.
